  1. Ministry of the State Treasury, Office for Nationalized Property (Ministarstvo Državne Riznice. Ured za Podržavljeni imetak)

    This collection is from the Croatian State Treasury’s Office for Nationalized Property. It contains card files for confiscated Jewish property in the city of Zagreb. Each file is two pages long and contains, in addition to the name and surname of the Jewish victim whose property was confiscated, the following information: a) page 1: address, religion, race, marital status together with the race of the spouse, the number of children under 21, and occupation; and, b) page 2: information about confiscated property (real estate, cash, etc).

  9. Manfred Wildmann family letters

    The Wildmann family letters consist of correspondence among Heinrich, Rebecca, Manfred, Hannelore, Margot, and Hugo Wildmann. The letters describe camp conditions, health and sanitary concerns, and food availability at the concentration camps at Rivesaltes and Le Barcarès, Heinrich’s situation at a hospital in Perpignan, Manfred’s situation at the children’s home in Grammont, and the family’s efforts to find better arrangements for each of them. The collection is accompanied by transcriptions and annotated translations created by Manfred and Sylvia Wildmann.

    The Max and Mathilde Maier family papers measure 1.5 linear feet, date from 1866‐1998, and include biographical materials, correspondence, photographs, printed materials, and writings documenting Max Maier’s World War I military service and the couple’s education, marriage, and emigration to Rolândia, Brazil. The papers also include a copy of an autobiography by Hans Maier and a copy of Gertrud Mainzer’s description of her time in Bergen‐Belsen.   13. German Air Force collection

    Consists of interrogation reports, target assessments, and translations of training manuals collected by American military intelligence, specifically the Combined Intelligence Objectives Subcommittee (CIOS), in 1945-1946. The reports contain information regarding medical issues related to the German Air Force [GAF or Luftwaffe], including equipment manuals and interrogations of doctors. Report 3A details the cold water experiments conducted by Dr. Sigmund Rascher in the Dachau concentration camp.

Mussmano. Also includes photographs taken at the Nuremberg Medical Case (Doctor's) Trials as well as mugshots of the defendents in the High Command Case.

  17. Felber family correspondence

    The Felber family correspondence consists primarily of letters from Eta Birnbaum in Leipzig to her sister Erna and her children Lilli and Norbert in Belgium and France in 1940 and 1941. These letters describe her loneliness and unease, her worries about her imprisoned husband Markus Felber, and her reactions to plans to send her children to relatives in the United States. Most of the correspondence is original, but some letters are photocopies.
