    The archive fonds contains archival records resulting from the activity of the Amtsgericht (District Court), which operated in the area of the judicial district of Stod during the German occupation, where also inhabitants of Jewish lived. Especially files with call No. EhR of the Heritage court, writings with call No. HRA and HRB of the Commercial register can be recommended for further inspection.   2. Deutsche Ansiedlungsgesellschaft (German Settlement Company) – Branch in Karlovy Vary

    The fonds includes archival records resulting from the activities of the Karlovy Vary branch of the German Settlement Company. The fonds is not inventoried nor arranged. Given the nature of the office one can find archive records related to the Jewish population, and especially to its land property, throughout the entire fonds. The fonds mainly includes official correspondence, reports on the management of farms, accounting records, settlement maps and land sheets and extracts thereof.

    The fonds includes archival records resulting from the activities of the German Settlement Company - The Chief Inspectorate Stříbro. Given the nature of the office, archival records related to the Jewish population and especially to its land property are likely to be found throughout the entire fonds, especially in the inventory units concerning the Chief Administration of Trpísty (the Třebel-Trpísty estate belonged, until 1938, to owners of Jewish origin).     The fonds includes archival records resulting from the activities of the Agricultural Office of Mariánské Lázně.     The fonds contains documents from the Liebauthal textile factories of Fischer and Co., Libavské Údolí from 1938 to 1950. Since these are documents of the Aryanised company, originally Noë Stross joint-stock company, United Textile Factories in Libavské Údolí and Bělá pod Bezdězem, a large number of documents are related to Jewish history.   6. Amtsanwalt (District Prosecutor´s Office) of Karlovy Vary

    Archival records in the fonds are a valuable source relating to development of the German Reich justice system in 1938–1945. For study of Jewish history, it is possible in particular to use files documenting a wide range of cases of looting of Jewish property in Karlovy Vary after having been abandoned by the owners during the autumn of 1938 and spring of 1939, this in particular concerning inv. № 12, box № 1–7 and inv. № 13, box № 28–34 (criminal files ref. 1 PLs and 2 PLs, 1939).

    Archival records in the fonds are a valuable source relating to development of the German Reich justice system in 1938–1945. For study of Jewish history, it is possible in particular to use files documenting a wide range of cases of looting of Jewish property in the Cheb region after having been abandoned by the owners during the autumn of 1938 and spring of 1939, this in particular concerning inv. № 39, box № 3–15 (criminal files ref. PLs, 1939).

  12. State Police Office in Domažlice

    The fonds contains documents from the activity of the State Police Office in Domažlice. The vast majority of the preserved documents are constituted by associations’ files, but also matters of issuance of passports and emigration and the agenda of refugees from occupied areas inland in the autumn of 1938. Politically important files were not however preserved, these evidently having been destroyed before 1945.
