    Testimony, photocopy of typescript, unpaginated (circa 100 pages), about life of Charles Ipjian, an Armenian immigrant from Turkey, who came to Chicago in the 1920s.

    The William A. Grab Jr. collection is comprised of papers pertaining to Thaddaus Zalewski and Paul Flohr, both prisoners held by the Nazis during the Holocaust and collected by William A. Grab, a veteran of the United States Army. The Thaddaus Zalewski papers include four letters written by Thaddaus during his incarceration in Dachau between 1943 and 1944.   3. "Julius Feldman's Voice From Behind the Wall"

    Testimony, approximately 46 pages, photocopy of typescript, titled "Julius Feldman's Voice from Behind the Wall," translated and with comments by Joseph Soski. Feldman (1923-1942) was in the camp at Płaszów, and his memoirs were kept by his family, who loaned them to Soski for this translation in 1993. Was subsequently published in 2002 as "The Krakow Diary of Julius Feldman."

  4. Jura Soyfer collection

    Consists of programs, text, sheet music, plays, and LPs related to the work of Austrian musician and songwriter Jura Soyfer. Includes the sheet music and translation of a song entitled "Dachau Lied," by Jura Soyfer. Soyfer, an anti-fascist and playwright, was arrested in 1937 and briefly released beefore being arrested trying to cross the Austrian border to Switzerland. He was transported to Dachau and later to Buchenwald, where he died of typhus in February 1939.

    Testimony, typescript, circa 50 pages, consisting of photocopy of journal kept by donor's father, telling of experiences of Peper family in German and in occupied Holland during the war. Also have a couple of photocopied documents, including letter awarding Allegonda Peper a medal for participation in partisans in Netherlands during occupation.

    The Max Poznanski collection contains documentation acquired by Poznanski, in an effort to gain reparations for his medical conditions. Poznanski suffered from bronchitis and severe nervousness, gained from his time working in the coal mines while a prisoner in several concentration camps. The majority of the collection contains medical reports and diagnoses in English, German, Czech, Russian, and Polish.   10. Lavern A. Weiser papers

    Photographs of post-liberation Dachau, news clippings from 1945, and news account of U.S. Army veteran Lawrence Weiser, circa 1990s. Photos appear to be from Weiser. Also includes a cartoon map of Europe, showing path of 42nd Infantry Division (Rainbow Division) from landing at Marseille to Bavaria and Austria by V-E Day.
