    The archival fonds contains the records of the Ministry until its dissolution in 1942. Especially important are documents relating to the divestment of the Jewish population from economic life in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia.

  2. Amtsgericht (District Court) of Nová Bytřice

    The fonds consists of regular agenda of a civil court. Property rights, estate and custodian files are mainly concerned. Within the criminal agenda the criminal matters of foreign workers are of interest (sign. NS). There are also documents of Inheritance court within the fonds. For researching Jewish history attention should be paid mainly to property rights matters, mainly inheritance matters.

  3. Collection of Nazi Occupation Documents of Various Provenance

    Only individual items have been preserved with regards to the history of the Jews within the territory of the Sudetenland region. The file Private legal requirements towards emigrated Jews contains a letter from the Office of the Government President of 22.2.1940 (inv. № 78). The file Jews, 1941–1943 holds materials regarding pertinence of Protectorate Jews under the Reich Association of Jews, use of means of transport by Jews, introduction of the obligation of Jews to be labelled as such and requests for waiving of this (inv. № 96).   4. Ignáz Etrich Limited Partnership, Horní Staré Město

    The fonds contains records of the Ignác (Ignaz) Etrich Limited Partnership in Horní Staré Město. Accounting records are the best preserved of the documents relating to the company's activities; they comprise a long and consistent series of ledgers dating from the first half of the 20th century until the company's nationalization. The accounts from the period of Nazi occupation include some records that relate to the use of Jewish female prisoners.

    The fonds contains record and accounting books, registry finding aids and files from the activity of the office of German state administration on the territory of the Sudetenland for the district Aš. In the section containing matters from the area of competence of the alien police, under inv. № 132 there are applications of Czech and Jewish firms for the return of property from 1939.     In the materials concerning the criminal agenda there are files relating to the breach of the duty to use the supplemental first name Israel for Jewish men, and Sára for Jewish women, 1940.

  7. Landrat (District Councillor) of Železná Ruda

    The fonds was created during the period of Nazi occupation of border areas of the Domažlice and Klatovy districts and their integration into the system of German administration in 1938-1945. These areas formed Landkreis (district office), which was administered by the Landrat (district councillor) in Železná Ruda. The relevant archival documents include the following: The police agenda contains demolition of synagogues in 1939 (inv. No. 123), the agriculture and forestry agenda contain the temporary administration of Czech and Jewish land from 1938 to 1944 (inv. No. 301).

  8. Landratsamt (District Councillor’s Office) of Mikulov (Landrat Nikolsburg)

    The fonds contains only written documents relating to the period of the holocaust, primarily this concerns documents on Jewish registers within the framework of the agenda of the “Standesamts” (call number V) from 1939 and documents on the Aryanisation of Jewish property in 1939 (call number IX). Relevant information shall evidently also be contained in other documents of the fonds.

    The fonds contains archival material concerning mainly Prague's religious history in 1884-1950. It also includes records of baptisms of adult Jews from 1933-1942 (Inv. No. 168) and sets of rules for Jews during World War II.(Inv. No. 186)

  10. Auswanderungsfonds (Emigration Fund), Brno Office

    The Emigration Fund is important for discovering the size of Jewish home assets, and for drawing a conclusion from it about the scale of Nazi plundering of Jewish property. The files contain contracts about compulsory sale, official valuation of real estate, expressions of owners about state of real estate, extract from land registry, notification of office of land council about establishment of fiduciary, lease agreements, proceedings for the sale of real estate, inventory records and correspondence with tenants and caretakers and others.   11. Landrat (District Councillor) of Cheb

    The fonds contains record and accounting books, registry finding aids and files from the activity of the office of German state administration on the territory of the Sudetenland for the district Cheb. In the section Kult I – School matters, under inv. № 308 there are files concerning the teaching of Gypsy and Jewish children from 1940–1944. Under inv. № 329 files are kept about school matters of Jews from 1939.

  12. Amtsgericht (District Court) of Vyšší Brod

    Files relating to persons of Jewish origin have survived in fragments: the recovery of debts from Jews who had to flee from the border regions, 1939 - 1941 (call No. K, inv. No. 26, box 21), termination of the lease of office premises, 1939 (call No. Mk, inv. No. 26, box 21), the Goldberger Comp. from Černá v Pošumaví, 1940 (call No. II, inv. No. 26, box 21). Files concerning Jewish inhabitants may sometimes be found in other parts of the fonds, too. If the names are not known, searching is difficult.

  13. Jewish Religious Community of Brandýs nad Labem

    This fonds contains meeting minutes, election records, personnel records, documents relating to registry matters and to the teaching of religion, financial files, and burial society documents: statutes (1892–1906), meeting minutes, and fragmentary files. It also includes the financial register of the local Jewish women's association and book of hazkarat. The documents from 1938–1940 are mainly accounting records and related correspondence (following on from the pre-war accounting files). There are also several documents relating to social welfare for refugees.

  14. Landgericht (Reichs Regional Court) – Kašperské Hory branch

    Archival records in the fonds are an important source for the development of the judicial system and administration of justice in regions which were administratively affiliated in 1939 to the Bavarian Ostmark.     The fonds contains valuable materials, in particular concerning the matter of Aryanization of Jewish property, and here we can find balances and accounting material of Jewish businesses and firms.     The fonds contains files of the judicial agenda from the district of the Land Court Česká Lípa from 1938–1945. General and collective files are preserved in the fonds, as well as staff files.   18. Amtsgericht (District Court) of Kašperské Hory

    The fonds contains documents of judicial administration from judicial districts of Kašperské Hory, Sušice and Hartmanice, attached to Germany in the years 1938–1945. The agenda of the Office for Debt Relief contains, among others, lists of Jews, in the years 1940–1941 (box No. 65, No. 10).

  19. Amtsgericht (District Court) of Jablonec nad Nisou

    The fonds contains records arising from the activities of the Amtsgericht (District Court) in Jablonec nad Nisou. Records of interest include civil and criminal case records (books and files) – particularly inheritance records and documents relating to death-related measures and matters relating to the seizure of goods. (The collection of documents relating to land registers from 1938–1945 and the land registers themselves are kept at the Cadastral Office for the Liberec region – Cadastral Branch Jablonec nad Nisou.)

  20. Amtsanwalt (District Prosecutor´s Office) of Stříbro

    Archival records in the fonds are a valuable source relating to development of the German Reich justice system in 1938–1945. For study of Jewish history, it is possible in particular to use files documenting a wide range of cases of destruction and looting of Jewish property in the Stříbro region after having been abandoned by the owners during the autumn of 1938 and spring of 1939 and other forms of persecution of citizens of Jewish origin, this in particular concerning inv. № 16, box № 1–70 (criminal files ref. PLs, 1939).
