Acquisition

The fonds was received by the current Moravian Provincial Archives in Brno, and an inventory was compiled in 1960. The history of the fonds is not specified in greater detail.

Scope and Content

The fonds contains valuable materials, in particular concerning the matter of Aryanization of Jewish property, and here we can find balances and accounting material of Jewish businesses and firms. We can find the following archival records in particular relating to the Jewish history, which virtually the entire fonds focuses on: List of enemy property – Jews 1940–1942; Various economic files of Jews (here we can find the names of Jewish citizens and files dealing primarily with the liquidation or closing of some Jewish shops, Aryanization proposals, forced administrations etc.). In it we can also find material with balances, accounts and other accounting materials of Jewish firms from different towns, for example Aryanization, purchases of Jewish property, files of individual firms etc.; also Administrative misdemeanours, breach of blackout regulations, individual cases, postal consignments of Jews, poaching, records of vagrants and others; Administrators of Jewish property, lists of Jews, forced administrations, movement of Jews 1939–1941.
