Acquisition
The agenda of the Inheritance Court was taken over by the State Archives in Třeboň in 1955 from the former Archives of the Ministry of Interior in Prague. The other documents were deposited in the registry of the People's Court of Kaplice from where they were set aside, roughly arranged and handed over by the District Archives in Kaplice to the State Archives in Třeboň. The fonds was inventoried there in 1961.
Scope and Content
Files relating to persons of Jewish origin have survived in fragments: the recovery of debts from Jews who had to flee from the border regions, 1939 - 1941 (call No. K, inv. No. 26, box 21), termination of the lease of office premises, 1939 (call No. Mk, inv. No. 26, box 21), the Goldberger Comp. from Černá v Pošumaví, 1940 (call No. II, inv. No. 26, box 21). Files concerning Jewish inhabitants may sometimes be found in other parts of the fonds, too. If the names are not known, searching is difficult.

The arranged part of the fonds is divided as follows: A/Books, B/Files: 1) The administrative files: a) The principal files, b) The collecting files, c) The principal files of special agendas, 2) The files of the court agenda (1938-1940, 1941-1945) 3. The agenda of the inheritance court.
