  3. Amtsgericht (District Court) of Prachatice

    The fonds includes documents of the Amtsgericht (District Court) of Prachatice from the period of the German occupation. The preserved files concern administrative issues and the criminal and civil agendas (disputes, inheritance, guardianships) from 1938-1945. The criminal files include documents concerning national and racial discrimination, illegal crossing of the border, etc. The fonds has been preserved in fragments.

    The fonds includes documents of the Amtsgericht (District Court) of Volary from the period of the Nazi occupation. The preserved files concern the administrative agenda and the judicial agenda, both criminal and civil one (disputes, inheritance, guardianships) from 1938-1945. The criminal files include documents concerning national and racial discrimination, illegal crossing of the border, etc. The fonds has been preserved in fragments.

  5. Jewish Religious Community of Bechyně

    The fonds includes meetings minutes, fragments of community files, financial files, synagogue seats register and book of Hazkarot. Most of the preserved documents come from the end of the 19th and from the beginning of the 20th century, the synagogue seats register only includes records from the first half of the 19th century. The book of Hazkarot reaches the time of the WWII in its records as it was kept to 1940 (only one commemorative record).

  6. Amtsgericht (District Court) of Český Krumlov

    The fonds includes materials of the population and inheritance court, and documents of the civil agenda (inheritance files, family law files), seizure of property (seizure of property files and files of court eviction), and the criminal agenda (petty thefts, illegal border crossing). There can be found files of people of Jewish origin in individual sections. The documents of the population and inheritance court in particular show the criminal nature of the Nazi law and justice.

  7. Reichs Gendarmerie Station in Kostomlaty pod Milešovkou

    Jewish issues do not specifically appear in the files but the relevant information can be expected in the following ones: Lageberichte-situational reports on the mood of the population 1938-1945 (inv. No. 7), Copies of case files from 1939-1941 (inv. No. 40). The fonds contains materials concerning the life of the Czech minority, the agenda of POWs, and various events not even mentioned by the official propaganda.

  8. Landrat (District Councillor) of Sokolov

    The fonds includes incomplete archival records of the political administration of the Sokolov district from the period of the German occupation, particularly files relating to businesses, citizenship and the hospital management, and personal files. Information on the history of Jews can be found mainly in the following files: The census results in the district of Falknov (inv. No. 74) and The 1939 census (inv. No. 105).

  9. Amtsgericht (District Court) of Hostinné

    The archival fonds of the Amtsgericht (district court) in Hostinné contains German judicial administration records and includes the following archival documents that relate to Jewish property: forced administration, 2–15 (incl. Pfefferkorn, Almus, Frischmann), 1939, Box 1; forced administration, 18–34 (incl. Dědek, Fuchs and Nettl, Freund), 1939, Box 1.

  10. Landgericht (Reichs Regional Court) of Liberec

    The fonds contains documents from the activity of the Reichs regional court. Documents are preserved in the fonds relating to liquidation of Jewish companies. Court files – Bankruptcies are preserved from 1938–1940 (inv. № 35). Ownership changes of the companies of individuals and joint stock companies are documented by books of company records held according to official courts from 1939–1945 (inv. no. 37–68) and files of individual companies (inv. № 71–74).

  11. Oberlandrat (Supreme District Councillor) of Jihlava

    The fonds contains documents from the circuit of the supreme district councillor in Jihlava. Material about the Aryanization of Jewish property can be found to a great extent in the fonds. Here we find these specific items concerning the Jewish history: Racial orders, regulations about people of mixed race, directives for procedure with Jews, directives for mixed marriages 1941–1944; Aryan documents, genealogical research, procedure 1940–1942, 1944; Aryanization, regulations, lists of forced administrations, property matters, applications for allocation of Jewish businesses and others 1939–...

  12. Amtsgericht (District Court) of Vranov

    The significance of this fonds is only supplemental. From relevant sources, it contains only inheritance files from 1938–1943 and/or guardianship and custodial files from 1939–1943. Persons of Jewish origin will apparently be recorded in these materials only in exceptional cases.

  13. Jewish Religious Community of Dolní Kralovice

    This fonds is fragmentary and consists of community's statutes, the statutes of the burial society, meeting minutes, a book of incoming correspondence (1905–1941), a Jewish tax register (1938–1941) and a graves register. The most valuable part of the fonds is a circumcision register (1791–1835).

  14. NSDAP of Vyškov

    The fonds contains documents of the local NSDAP group from the years 1939–1944. In the original call № there were Jewish matters, court matters: Jewish property, German court in Brno, racial policy. According to the current layout, the documents concerning Jewish matters are split up amongst several thematically arranged binders, for example resettlement of Jews; Centre for Jewish Emigration; Jewish apartments; also many documents concerning Jewish property or its sale or about inhabitants of Jewish race.

  15. Internment Camp of Svatobořice

    The fonds contains sources about life in the internment camp, lists of internees, their wages, work deployment, correspondence. There were also Jews in the camp temporarily, about whom there may be records primarily in these documents Card Index of Internees (4 boxes) 1942–1944; Card Index of Sick Internees 1944 and Book of Sick Persons 1944, and possibly in other items.

  16. Reichs District Gendarmerie Station in Pozorka

    Jewish issues do not specifically appear in the files but the relevant information can be expected in the following ones: Regulations and guidelines of the Gestapo offices in Liberec and Teplice on church affairs 1941 (inv. No. 23). The fonds contains materials concerning the life of the Czech minority, the agenda of POWs, and various events not even mentioned by the official propaganda.

  17. Amtsgericht (District Court) of Jaroslavice

    The significance of this fonds is only supplemental. From relevant sources, it contains only inheritance files from 1939–1943 and/or guardianship and custodial files from 1939-1943. Persons of Jewish origin will apparently be recorded in these materials only in exceptional cases.

  18. Commander of the Ordnungspolizei Moravia

    The fonds contains materials concerning the supervision of the German occupation administration over the Protectorate gendarmerie and police. Only the following sources concern the Jewish matters: Complaints about gendarmes due to their anti–German behaviour and their contacts with Jews 1941, Senior Constable, retired, Richard Rotrökl, concealment of Jewish money 1942.

  19. Gendarmerie station in Rozvadov

    The fonds includes chronologically ordered correspondence and filing registers of a Gendarmerie station from the end of October 1938 until 1942. Some documents concerning Jews were removed from the fonds in the past and stored in box I., labelled Occupation Action.   20. Amtsgericht (District Court) of Žlutice

    The fonds includes documents arising from the activities of the court functioning on the territory of the Judicial District of Žlutice. Although Judaica are not specified in the inventory, they are most likely to be found in the box No. 30-34 (forced auctions of real estates, 1938-1942), box No. 35 (forced administration of real estates, 1938-1939), and boxes No. 36-46 (seizures of property, 1939-1945 - also indexes, registry finding aids No. 2-4).
