Acquisition

The civil agenda of the former Amtsgericht (District Court) was, after 1945, transferred to the reestablished District Court in Horní Litvínov from where it was taken over by the then State Archives in Litoměřice (1951). The criminal files were transferred to the District Court in Most and from there they were taken over by the former District Archives in Litvínov (1957). These files, along with other materials, were taken over in 1962 by the State Archives in Litoměřice. There, before their arrangement, an internal appraisal was carried out in 1968 and an inventory was created. The arranged fonds was taken over, within the transfer in 1979, by the District Archives in Most (now the State District Archives Most).
