Acquisition
The documents of the administrative and civil agendas of the court were taken out of the registry of the People's Court in Prachatice, and in 1959 passed to the State Archives in Třeboň. The criminal agenda documents were taken over by the archives from the District Prosecutor's Office in Prachatice in 1960. The fonds was arranged in 1960 and 1961. In 1981, it was transferred to the State District Archives in Prachatice. In 1993, it gained new additions.
Scope and Content
The fonds includes documents of the Amtsgericht (District Court) of Prachatice from the period of the German occupation. The preserved files concern administrative issues and the criminal and civil agendas (disputes, inheritance, guardianships) from 1938-1945. The criminal files include documents concerning national and racial discrimination, illegal crossing of the border, etc. The fonds has been preserved in fragments.

The fonds is divided into: A. Books, A. Files: 1. Administrative files, 2. Files of the judicial agenda (general, civil, and criminal ones).
