    The fonds contains files of the criminal agenda from the district of the Land Court Most which relate to the whole range of criminal offences. Files relating to the violent extermination of the Jews by members of the SA and SS from 1938–1939 (reference Js, inv. № 39-42) and criminal files, for example documenting looting of Jewish property (reference Kls and KMs) are of importance for the history of the Jews.

  10. Resettlement Office of Ministry of the Interior in Vyškov

    The fonds documents in its full scope the occupation and displacement policy of the Germans in the Vyškov area, whose Czech inhabitants were impacted en-masse by repressive measures. The fonds contains details about the number of affected persons, their social status, property status etc. In the series part of the register we can find a list of Jewish property, its sale and renting to emigrants (1943).

    The collection consist of originals and copies of the various documents, such as copies of identity documents, birth certificates, writing pads, textbooks, school certificates, photographs, messages from teachers to parents (or to the legal representatives of children), memoirs, school notes, presentations and newspapers. These materials also relate to more than 670 mostly Jewish children saved by the Kindertransporte organised by Nicolas Winton and other rescuers.

    The fonds contains archival materials concerning the history of the Czech resistance during the World War II, the uprising in May 1945 and various aspects of the life of the society in that period. The fonds also includes sources for persecution of the Jewish population such as the Decree on Marriage of Jews and Jewish Half-Breeds from 8 October 1942; announcements of Jewish fiancés and undelivered envelopes from the Prague Municipal Office with copies of marriage and birth certificates for persons of Jewish origin in the transports (1941-1942).
