Acquisition

After the war, the fond was taken from the judicial building in Most. The material was processed in 1963. A separate index was created for staff files.

Scope and Content

The fonds contains files of the criminal agenda from the district of the Land Court Most which relate to the whole range of criminal offences. Files relating to the violent extermination of the Jews by members of the SA and SS from 1938–1939 (reference Js, inv. № 39-42) and criminal files, for example documenting looting of Jewish property (reference Kls and KMs) are of importance for the history of the Jews.

The fonds is structured into several groups: I. General files (not preserved), II. Collective files (not preserved), III. Personal files of employees, IV. Proper criminal agenda according to individual references. Only fragments of indices have been preserved.
