    Geschichte des Bestandsbildners Heeresstruktur 1 (1956 - 1959) Durch den Aufstellungsbefehl Nr. 19 (Heer) vom 16. Juni 1956 beauftragte das Verteidigungsministerium den Aufstellungsstab Nord in Hannover mit der Einrichtung des Heeresstabes I in Münster zum 2. Juli. Zehn Wochen später meldete der Heeresstab I seine Arbeitsbereitschaft. Am 15. September wurde der Stab direkt dem Verteidigungsministerium unterstellt, womit die Zuständigkeit des Aufstellungsstabes Nord endete. Am 1. Oktober 1956 wurde der Heeresstab I in Stab I.     Collection includes a photograph of two survivors from Holland and a photograph of American soldiers near Lake Attersee. The photographs were taken by I.B. Bunn, a member of Company B, 305th Medical Battalion, 80th Infantry Division, immediately following the liberation of Ebensee concentration camp in Austria.

    The collection includes: assessment books, books of school council, class books and grades. Contains lists of school children. After the war, it was the only Jewish school in Łódź, children who survived the war and had the experience of ghettos and camps were learning there. In the school, alongside Polish and Polish history, Hebrew and Yiddish were taught. Among the graduates of this school was Henryk Grynberg, a writer living after 1968 in the USA.     The personal fonds of a famous Jewish writer who was hidden and adopted by a Lithuanian peasant family and survived the war. The files of the fonds consist of drafts with the author's corrections, translations of his novels into Russian, screenplays for films, personal documents, correspondence, photos. His novels are natural and precise, and are based on personal experiences and the tragic experiences of Lithuanian Jews in the Holocaust.
