History
As of January 1, 2014 the Streekarchief Bommelerwaard is connected to the Regionaal Archief Rivierenland. All archives of the Bommelerwaard are now housed in Tiel.
Archival and Other Holdings
The Regionaal Archief Rivierenland (RAR) manages approximately 1800 archives of very different type and age: the archives of the municipalities Buren, Culemborg, Geldermalsen, Maasdriel, Lower Betuwe Neerijnen, Tiel and Zaltbommel, the archives of many predecessors of the Rivierenland water board, the archives of companies, social institutions, associations, families and individuals. The oldest materials date from the 14th century, the youngest of the past few years.

The Regionaal Archief Rivierenland (RAR) is open from Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 4:30pm.
