Head of the Reich Culture Chamber (Reichskulturkammer); since 1942 also head of the film department at the Reich Ministry for the People's Enlightenment and Propaganda (Reichsministerium für Volksaufklärung und Propaganda); 1944 appointed National Film Superintendent (Reichsfilmintendant).
