    Er is een toegang op kaartsysteem. Er wordt gewerkt aan digitalisering van de fotocollectie ten behoeve van een Digitale Beeldbank Venlo. In deze collectie bevinden zich foto’s betreffende de oorlog. Er is een onderdeel 'onderwerpen'. De foto's van dit onderdeel zijn geordend volgens een van de UDC afgeleid onderwerpensysteem. Er is eveneens een onderdeel straten. De foto’s van de straten staan alfabetisch op straatnaam. Een groot aantal straten bevat ook foto’s van oorlogsverwoestingen.   10. Archief van de gemeentesecretarie Kerkrade, 1795-1946

    Het archief bevat de neerslag van de taken en activiteiten van de gemeente. Onder de inventarisnummers 1-137 zijn de notulen van vergaderingen van de gemeenteraad en het College B&W te vinden. Onder inventarisnummers 1448-1543 en 1561-1919 vindt u stukken betreffende personeelsaangelegenheden. Onder nummers 2336-2467 zitten personeelsdossiers van de politie. Onder nummers 2552-2802 en 5533-5772 (archief van de Burgelijke Stand, 1797-1946) zitten stukken betreffende de bevolkingsregistratie. Hier kunt u in de gedeeltes over de oorlogsjaren mogelijk relevante informatie vinden.

    Op het moment van de bezetting was Johan Westrik burgemeester van Barneveld. Hij werd aangesteld als burgemeester op 20 april 1925 en hij moest deze post gedwongen neerleggen op 1 juni 1946. De burgemeester moest onderduiken in augustus 1944 omdat hij een weermachtsorder negeerde. Het archief bevat de neerslag van de taken en activiteiten van de gemeente.
