  8. Dr. Arthur Kessler collection

    The collection documents the Holocaust experiences of Dr. Arthur Kessler, originally of Czernowitz (Chernivtsi, Ukraine), including his imprisonment in the Vapniarka concentration camp in Transnistria and his efforts to treat and manage an outbreak of paralysis of fellow prisoners due to consumption of Lathyrus sativus. Included are artifacts, objects gifted to him, biographical materials, correspondence, research notes and samples related to Lathyrism, written testimony, writings, and a small amount of photographs. Also included is his unpublished memoir Ein Arzt im Lager (A Camp Physician).

  9. Edward Rutkowski collection

    Contains photographic prints showing destruction due to wafare but also immediate post-liberation images of concentration camps, likely the Ebensee subcamp of Mauthausen.

    Contains one certificate of naturalization for the United States (dated 1952); one United States citizenship declaration form for Bela Sampson and Joseph Samuel Sampson (dated 1946); one marriage license form (dated 21 October 1945) for Bela Bajnesz and Joseph Sampson; and two marriage certificates, one dated 9 January 1946, the other a Ketubah in Aramaic and English.

    Het archief van de gemeente is beperkt openbaar omdat het archief nog niet officieel is overgebracht naar de archiefbewaarplaats. Het archief bevat de neerslag van de taken en activiteiten van de gemeente. Onder rubriek -2.07.5 zijn de notulen van vergaderingen van de gemeenteraad en het College B&W te vinden. In sectie -2.08 vindt u stukken betreffende personeelsaangelegenheden. Onder rubriek -1.755 zitten stukken betreffende de bevolkingsregistratie. Hier kunt u in de gedeeltes over de oorlogsjaren mogelijk relevante informatie vinden.

  12. Gemeente Gendt (1936-1960)

    Het archief bevat de neerslag van de taken en activiteiten van de gemeente. In hoofdstuk 1.2 zijn de notulen van vergaderingen van de gemeenteraad en het College B&W te vinden. In hoofdstuk 1.6 vindt u stukken betreffende personeelsaangelegenheden. In hoofdstuk 2.4 zitten stukken betreffende de bevolkingsregistratie. Hier kunt u in de gedeeltes over de oorlogsjaren mogelijk relevante informatie vinden. Dit archief wordt momenteel (oktober 2012) bewerkt, waardoor identificatiecodes en inventarisnummers gewijzigd zullen worden.

  15. "The Romanian Jews During W.W. II"

    Consists of one manuscript, 46 pages, entitled "The Romanian Jews During W.W.II," by Neha Weinstein Voigt, originally of Iasi, Romania. In the manuscript, Weinstein describes the history of the Holocaust in Romania, including the destruction of Iasi's Jews. Also includes a folder of clippings and letters regarding Mrs. Voigt's Holocaust experiences and photographs of Mrs. Voigt and of her parents.

    The identification card ("Kennkarte") was issued to Izabela Biezunska-Malowist under the alias "Janina Truszcynska" by the Polish underground.
