United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Collection, Gift of Lisa Kressler

Donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum collection in 2016 by Lisa Kressler. Edward Rutkowski (1918-2009) was Lisa Kressler's husband's grandfather who brought these materials home after he returned from serving with the US military during WWII.

Scope and Content

Contains photographic prints showing destruction due to wafare but also immediate post-liberation images of concentration camps, likely the Ebensee subcamp of Mauthausen.
