Acquisition

The Poland Documentation Project started in July 1994 as a joint project between the Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies at Yale University and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. They designated Mr. Nathan Beyrak as the Project Director. The first taping project occured in July 1994 with a subsequent taping project occuring in May 1995. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum began receiving the tapes of the interviews in March 1995.

Oral history interviews of the Poland Documentation Project recorded by the Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. The 26 interviews in this collection date from 1994 to1995.
