Biographical History
The Bessarabian Governorate was organized based of the law of the Romanian government of September 4, 1941. All administrative authority in the territory of the former Bessarabia was entrusted to the governorship led by the governor. The functions of the governorship included the management and control of the activities of all the administrative bodies of Bessarabia. The directories, local authorities, and the council of the governorship, which coordinated and directed the administrative activities, were subjected to the governor. The Bessarabian Governorate is liquidated in 1944
Scope and Content
Orders of the Governorate on administrative and economic matters; directives on the introduction of labor service for the construction of roads of military importance; orders of the governorship; complaints of landowners about the return of the crop and the restoration of their land use rights; governorship lists; correspondence with the ministry of cults about the dissolution of religious sects; the fact of the abduction of wealth from the ghetto of Kishinev by the commander of the gendarme legion, Vartik; the conclusions of the legal counsel of the province on the resolution of controversial and legal issues of the population of Bessarabia; conclusions of the governor’s legal counsel on the procedure for the recognition of Romanian citizenship to persons who evacuated with the Soviet authorities and returned to Romania after 1941

Biographical History
Бессарабское губернаторство организовано на основе закона румынского правительства от 4 сентября 1941 г. Вся административная власть на территории бывшей Бессарабии была возложена на губернаторство во главе с губернатором. В функции губернаторства входило руководство и контроль деятельности всех административных органов Бессарабии, ему подчинялись директориаты, органы местной власти.. а также совет губернаторства, который координировал и направлял административную деятельность. Ликвидировано в 1944 г.

Приказы и распоряжения губернаторства по административным вопросам и вопросам экономики; директивные указания о введении трудовой повинности для постройки дорог военного значения; приказы губернаторства; жалобы помещиков о возврате им урожая и восстановлении их прав на землепользование; списки сотрудников губернаторства; переписка с министерством культов о роспуске религиозных сект; дело факта похищения материальных ценностей из кишиневского гетто комендантом жандармского легиона Вартиком; заключения юристконсультов губернатоства по разрешению спорных и правовых вопросов населения Бессарабии; заключения юристконсульта губернаторства о порядке признания румынского подданства лицам, эвакуировавшимся с советской властью и возвратившихся в Румынию после 1941 г.
