Das () war eine für die Umsetzung der nationalsozialistischen Rasseideologie zentrale SS-Behörde. Ihr unterstand unter anderem auch der Lebensborn e.V. (s. Einleitung des Findbuchs NS 1!). Im "RuSHA"-Prozess, dem achten der insgesamt zwölf Nürnberger Nachfolgeprozesse, wurden von der US-Militärregierung für Deutschland vierzehn führende Beschäftigte dieser Stelle angeklagt.
