  1. Carl Weiler and Mina Kaufmann Weiler families collection

    The collection consists of artifacts, correspondence, documents, an oral testimony, and photographs relating to the Mina Kaufmann and Carl Weiler families in Germany, Switzerland and the United States before World War II and in Germany and Gurs internment camp in France during the war.

  2. Eugene Lorant collection

    The collection consists of documents, photographs, and two prayer books relating to the experiences of Eugene Lorant and his emigration to the United States after the Holocaust.

  3. Andries Roos family collection

    The collection consists of an armband, a tallit and pouch, and a book relating to the experiences of Andries Roos, and his son Leo Roos, before and during the Holocaust in Amsterdam, Netherlands, during which Andries was executed for his resistance activity and Leo and other family members lived in hiding.

  4. Dorit B. Whiteman collection

    Contains university report card (Meldungsbuch) issued in 1938 in Vienna, Austria, to Edwin Bader, father of the donor, as a replacement for the original issued in 1910-1915; a photocopy of a note about proper behavior handed out to newly arrived refugees in England in 1938; and video recordings of the 1988 reunion of former Nuremberg-Fuerth refugees. Mr. Frank Harris arranged the reunion.

  5. Michael Gorenstein family collection

    The collection consists of a drawing, a photograph, and a letter relating to the experiences of Dady Gorenstein and his parents, Moritz and Laura Gorenstein, during the Holocaust when Dady died in the Mogilev-Podolski ghetto, and after the Holocaust in Transnistria.

  6. George Flaum Banet and Marlene Roberts Banet collection

    The collection consists of a walking stick, a quill pen, and a woodcut relating to the experiences of Georges Flaum (later Banet) and his parents Charles and Therese in France during and after the Holocaust, which Georges survived in hiding, while his parents were held in internment camps in France, and then deported and killed in Auschwitz concentration camp in German occupied Poland.

  7. Andre Goedwert collection

    Consists of 7 report cards, 1 leaflet, and 1 photograph relating to Andre Goedwert donor's husband as well as 1 stamp used to make false documents

  8. Sven Sonnenberg collection

    The collection consists of one armband with a blue Star of David worn in the Drzewica ghetto, one yellow badge worn in the Płock ghetto, one coin from the Łódź ghetto, and two photographs.

  9. Alicia Fajnsztejn Weinsberg collection

    Consists of a purse owned by the donor's aunt and kept by Alicia Weinsberg in hiding; a Russian affidavit for Jakob Fajnsztejn (the donor's grandfather); seven postcards from the Warsaw ghetto; one letter and envelope from the ghetto; one Red Cross letter from the ghetto; two identity cards; three false birth certificates; and one letter from the American Consul General in Sweden. Also includes other materials concerning the wartime experiences of the donor's family. Some of these materials may be combined into a single collection in the future.

  10. Lola and Walter Kaufman collection

    The collection consists of a dress, photographs, and publications relating to the experiences of Lola Rein before and during the Holocaust in Poland and after the Holocaust in Germany, and photographs relating to the experiences of Walter Kaufman after the Holocaust in Germany.

  11. Harry J. Mayer collection

    The collection consists of a leather belt, booklets, documents, letters, photographs, and postcards relating to Heinz (Harry) J. Mayer and his family before the Holocaust in Germany, during the Holocaust when his parents, Max and Mina, were imprisoned in Camp de Gurs and Camp de Noé in France, and Heinz was taken to safety in Switzerland.

  12. Vera Waisvisz-Reiss family collection

    The collection consists of an apron, letters, documents, postcards, and a newspaper clipping relating to the experiences of Vera Reiss, a hidden child, and her family in the Netherlands during the Holocaust.

  13. Mini Chazen collection

    The collection consists of one oval metal pin, one charm featuring a Star of David, and photographs that depict members of the Chazen family before the Holocaust and three of the Chazen siblings at various locations throughout France. Some of these materials may be combined into a single collection in the future.

  14. Dezsofi family collection

    The Dezsofi family collection includes biographical material, correspondence, school notebooks, writings, and magazines relating to the pre-war experiences of twin sisters Dolly and Marianne Dezsofi in Budapest, Hungary as well as during the war while in hiding. Biographical material includes a death certificate and union identification card for Imre Tieberger, Dolly and Marianne’s uncle, two pre-war greeting cards with photographs Dolly gave to her mother for mother's day, and a pre-war photograph of Dolly and Marianne in first grade, dated 1937.   15. Estera Horn family collection

    Consists of seven original photographs of Estera Horn and her maternal relatives before the war in Chelm, Kamien, and Krocyn, Poland, and in Palestine during the war; and two gold-colored metal buttons taken from the donor's coat by her rescuer, Leokadia Wojtkiewicz.

  16. Frances Ziegler family collection

    The collection consists of two armbands, cloth bundle, two combs, earmuff, klaf, knife, scissors, scrip, tag, documents, photographs, and books relating to the experiences of Frances Ziegler before and during the Holocaust in Poland where she lived in hiding in Poland and after the Holocaust in Fohrenwald displaced persons camp.

  17. Starkopf family collection

    The collection consists of 26 photographic images, 1 hatbox, 1 necklace, and 2 fur stoles relating to the experiences of the Starkopf family during the Holocaust.

  18. Walter Gewing collection

    The collection consists of archival materials and a three-dimensional object relating to the Gewing family's emigration to Shanghai, China, during the Holocaust.

  19. Rose and Mayer Zar collection

    Consists of documents relating to Rose and Mayer Zar's (formerly Szoszana and Mayer Zarnowiecki), the donor's parents' residence in different DP camps in Germany and two suits that were handmade for the Zars in a DP camp. The documents include inoculation certificates; registration cards; a birth certificate of their first son Awiron Zarnowiecki, born on 9 Aug.1948, his death certificate indicating that the little boy drowned on 29 May 1951, reparations payment certificates, and announcements.
