Consists of a false birth certificate, false identification card, and false “Kennkarte,” all issued to the donor’s mother, Wanda Regina Gajda (real name Roza Guterman); a certificate of incarceration issued to Majer Zarnowiecki, prisoner no. 94926, stating that he was born in Piotrkow Trybunalski on 17 January 1921, and was incarcerated in a sub camp of Buchenwald; and documents, dated 1946-1950, relating to the donor’s parents, Szoszana and Majer Lejb Zarnowiecki, and their vocational training and work in the Lindenfels displaced persons camp.

The papers consist of documents relating to Rose and Mayer Zar's (formerly Szoszana and Mayer Zarnowiecki) [donor's parents] residence in different DP camps in Germany and include inoculation certificates, registration cards, the birth certificate of their firstborn son, Awiron Zarnowiecki, and his death certificate indicating that the little boy drowned on May 29, 1951, reparations payment certificates, and announcements.

Consists of a photograph album assembled by the donor’s parents, Rose and Mayer Zar, documenting their activities with “Hashomer Hatzair” youth in the Lindenfels displaced persons camp and 73 photographic portraits that Jewish child survivors presented as a parting memento to Rose and Mayer Zar. Most of the children survived in hiding during the Holocaust. Rose and Mayer Zar prepared the children for emigration to Palestine.
