    In this diary Mozes Isaak (Maurice) Sand recounts daily life as a forced labourer in an Organisation Todt camp in France (August-October 1942), as a refugee in France (winter 1942) and as a member of the French resistance (1943-1944). The notes include detailed reports on the treatment of Jews in the French camps, Mozes Isaak Sand’s return to Belgium in 1942, his personal life and international politics.

    This item is a short letter sent by Else Raesener, living in Brussels, to her daughter Lea Raesener, living in Palestine, via the Red Cross only a few weeks before Else's arrest and deportation. It would be her last sign of life.

    This collection consists of two intertwined sections : (1) documents and photos regarding the annual commemoration of the attack against Transport XX in Boortmeerbeek, including the ceremonial administration and delivered speeches ; (2) research materials – largely copies of documents, testimonies and research articles – collected by Marc Michiels in preparation for his book on Transport XX. This collection is only accessible at the Kazerne Dossin documentation centre.
