Acquisition

David P. Boder conducted the interviews with displaced persons from June to October 1946 at various displaced persons camps and facilities in various languages. Illinois Institute of Technology provided funding for the project. Boder made the interviews on four inch wire recordings. United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives purchased copies of the wire recordings on sound cassettes from the Library of Congress in 1998.
