Biographical History
David P. Boder conducted the interview in Paris, France, on July 29, 1946, during the ORT convention of displaced persons. Boder recorded the interview with Shachnovski in Russian and later transcribed the interview into English. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum acquired a copy of the interview from the Library of Congress in 1998.
