    Contains selected records from the Swedish Red Cross concerning the "White Buses." In 1945 "White Buses" were sent by Sweden to Germany to bring liberated camp prisoners from Sachsenhausen, Dachau, Ravensbrück, and other camps as refugees to Sweden. Collection contains a transport list of 875 prisoners, diaries of transport personnel, reports and correspondence regarding White Buses' operations, lists of French, Danish, and Norwegian liberated prisoners, and the private collection of Major Sven Frykman (Chief of Swedish Red Cross Operation).     1. The Alfred Wiener documents collection

    The file contains scans of several instructions given to the leaders of immigrants labor camps in Switzerland. The instructions mostly relate to the rules of daily life and the working conditions for the camps staff and leaders. Further instructions relate to the bureaucracy which was necessary to provide smooth processes in the camps. The orders were given out by the Central Labor Camp Administration in Zurich(Zentralleitung der Arbeitslager, Zürich) and were mostly signed by the head of the Central Administration Otto Zaugg.

    This collection consists of the personal papers of Wilhelm Pollak, a Jewish refugee from Vienna who was forced to emigrate in 1939 after his release from Dachau and Buchenwald concentration camps.Personal papers including correspondence and diary entries (including summarised translations) concerning Pollak's imprisonment, arrangements for his emigration to England and his stay at various internment camps. Also included are photocopies of inventories of Phillip and Friederike Pollak's property in Vienna.
