Gemeentearchief Midden-Drenthe

Acquisition

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection from the Gemeentearchief Midden-Drenthe via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archives Project Division in June 2003. The documents in the collection were located in the municipal archives of Westerbork, Netherlands, until 1998, when they were transferred to the Gemeentearchief Midden-Drenthe. The documents in this collection originate from the municipality of Westerbork, not the transit camp of Westerbork.

Scope and Content

Contains registers, together with death certificates, of deported and arrested persons in the vicinity of Westerbork, Netherlands.
