The municipality archives manage the old archives of the former municipalities, which were included in the new municipality of Borsele in 1970.

Opening Times

The archive is open from Monday till Friday from 8.30 till 12.30, Thursdsy also from 14.00 till 17.00.

Het archief bevat de neerslag van de taken en activiteiten van de gemeente. Onder inventarisnummers 1-37 zijn de notulen van vergaderingen van de gemeenteraad en het College B&W te vinden. Onder inventarisnummers 818-854 vindt u stukken betreffende personeelsaangelegenheden. Onder inventarisnummers 924-983 zitten stukken betreffende de bevolkingsregistratie. Hier kunt u in de gedeeltes over de oorlogsjaren mogelijk relevante informatie vinden. Bij de herindeling van gemeenten, per 1 januari 1970, besloot men bij de gemeente Borsele, om twee oude gemeentesecretarissen, die weldra met pen...
