History
Born 1875 in Václavice. Died 1970 in Brno. Czech Rabbi, author and scholar. Until 1942 Rabbi in the Bohemian town of Kolín. Wrote one of the first books on the Holocaust "Židovská tragedie" (Jewish Tragedy). Transported to Terezín in June 1942. Liberated in Terezín in May 1945.
