Alexandre Gourary fut administrateur de sociétés, secrétaire général honoraire de la Chambre de commerce Belgique-Luxembourg-Israël, Médaille de la Résistance, Croix de Guerre avec Palme, Croix du Prisonnier Politique, Chevalier de l’Ordre de Léopold II, Médaille de l’Irgoun, Médaille du Combattant de l’État d’Israël, décédé à Jérusalem en 2000. Chaïm Nachum Raffeld (1894-1963) exerça les fonctions de rabbin de l’oratoire Beth Israël à Molenbeek, il fut ministre-officiant des communautés israélites de Gand et d’Ostende et fut également circonciseur (mohel).
