Dit bestand bevat hoofdzakelijk documentatie en nota’s van Betty Garfinkels in verband met het boek Belgique, terre d’acceuil. Het gaat vooral om fotokopies van originele stukken inzake de immigratie en opvang van Joodse vluchtelingen, zoals wetteksten, circulaires, krantenknipsels, briefwisseling en dergelijke, zowel daterend uit de jaren ’30 als uit de naoorlogse periode. Daarnaast vinden we ook een geannoteerd manuscript terug van het boek. Het bestand bevat eveneens origineel archiefmateriaal, grotendeels uit de periode 1939-1940.
