Synagogue d’Ostende
Biographical History
Le Roi Léopold II mit à disposition l’annexe d’un ancien palais royal pour y aménager une synagogue dans la ville balnéaire d’Ostende. En décembre 1910, la communauté juive d’Ostende obtint l’autorisation de bâtir une véritable synagogue. Celle-ci sera établie par l’architecte Joseph De Lange et inaugurée en août 1911. Elle se trouve sur la Filip van Maastrichtplein et est encore en activité actuellement.
