    This collection contains one membership card of the “Association des Anciens Détenus de Malines” (Organization of previous prisoners of Mechelen (Malines)) mentioning the arrest and release of Leentje De Metz, and two false identity cards of Leentje De Metz with stamps placed on them. Only one of the two identity cards has the filled in false information.

    The collection features an illustrated report titled "Geïllustreerde reportage: Herinneringen aan onze Weggevoerden der Van Diepenbeekstraat te Antwerpen" ("Illustrated Report: Memories of Our Deported from Van Diepenbeekstraat in Antwerp").     Het archief- en documentatiemateriaal bewaard in het Nationaal Gedenkteken Fort van Breendonk valt uiteen in verschillende onderdelen. De archieven gevormd door de administratie zelf zijn van belang voor het algemene bestuur en de werking van het NGFB.   14. Miscellaneous photos collected to create the Jewish Museum of Deportation and Resistance. Collection

    This collection consists of work copies of miscellaneous photos on the Holocaust in general and the Belgian case in particular, stored in dozens of institutes worldwide. The copies were entrusted to the Jewish Museum of Deportation and Resistance in 1994-1996, in order to create its permanent exhibition.

    This collection consists of an interview of Mirjam Hemelrijk who survived the war in an orphanage in the Netherlands, Eva Sternefeld who survived the war in Suriname and Rachel Mok who survived the war in the United Kingdom ; photos of Samuel Lisser and Rachel Keyser, adoptive parents of Mirjam Hemelrijk.

  18. Research by Nico Hamme on the Chateau de Bassines and the children hidden there. Collection

    This collection contains research files, compiled by Nico Hamme who, as a child, was hidden at the Chateau de Bassines near Havelange, Namur. Every file revolves around a child who was also hidden at the chateau or around one of the rescuers there. The files contain testimonies of the child or rescuer, correspondence between them and Nico Hamme, and in some cases photocopies of photos. This collection is only accessible at the Kazerne Dossin documentation center after a substantiated request.

    The Steinhardt-Safier family collection contains 28 photos showing the prewar Steinhardt and Safier family life : pictures taken on boat rides during vacations, wedding photos taken at a synagogue in Berlin, baby pictures of Harry Henri Steinhardt, family parties and Passover celebrations, and the Safier family at their bakery in Berlin. The collection also contains a post-war letter from the Belgian Ministry of Public Affairs confirming the deportation of the Steinhardt-Safier family and two family trees clarifying the ties between the Steinhardt and Safier families.
