    The collection comprises various documents primarily related to the professional activities and wartime experiences of individuals and businesses during World War II in the Belgian occupation period.     This collection contains a Polish passport issued to Marjem Wyszegrodzka in 1937. Marjem Wyszegrodzka, born on 20 August 1908 in Łęczyca, Poland, moved to Belgium and married Leibisch Goldfischer. She had been in Belgium since 22 August 1927, working at a clothing shop in Brussels. On 7 October 1942, both Marjem and Leibisch were registered at the Dossin Barracks for deportation to Auschwitz-Birkenau on Transport XIII, which departed on 10 October 1942.   7. Emergency Deutsche Marken overprinted with NSDAP anti-Semitic election slogans. Collection

    This collection consists of 15 emergency Deutsche Marken banknotes overprinted with NSDAP anti-Semitic propaganda slogans. These banknotes were originally issued in 1922 during the hyperinflation crisis of post-World War I Germany. Overprinted with election slogans in the early 1930’s accusing Jews of financial misconduct and advocating for their removal from positions of power, these banknotes serve as artifacts of Nazi propaganda tactics during their rise to power.

The fond holds also files regarding sociological research, conferences organised by CNHEJ/IEJ, applications for subsidies to the Institute of Contemporary Jewry, Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

    The library holds more than fifteen thousand works related to Judaism. It holds a unique collection of Jewish periodicals emanating from Belgian and international Jewish organisations. The library possesses the complete collection of the periodical Regards par of the CCLJ, of the Centrale d’œuvres Sociales, du Kehilatenou, de Menorah, created in 1955 by Chaïm Perelman. The many press clippings are arranged thematically, and by sections in the library. It also holds documents regarding Jews from the USSR.

    In dit bestand noteren we vooreerst de antisemitische propaganda geschreven door Joris Desbonnet zelf. Nr. 3 bevat o.a. antisemitische artikels waaronder de brochure “Wie won en wie verrijkte zich in den Wereldoorlog?” (1935-1936). Onder nr. 11 vinden we een ongedateerd script van de hand van Desbonnet getiteld “Het Jodendom valt aan”. Daarnaast vermelden we nog de congresteksten van het vierde en vijfde congres van het antisemitische persagentschap Wereld Dienst te Erfurt (resp. in 1937 en 1938).     In dit bestand noteren we vooreerst onder F1/G de artikels “Dr. Marten Rudelsheim” (1981), “De Jodenvervolging onder Hitler” (1981) en “Pius XII en de vervolgde Joden” (1982), verschenen in het rechtse Vlaams-nationalistische blad ’t Pallieterke.   17. Archief Vrij Historisch Onderzoek.

    Dit bestand zou voornamelijk stukken bevatten die typisch zijn voor verenigingsarchief. In het bijzonder zou het vooral gaan om stukken inzake de redactie van de verschillende publicaties van VHO, en om correspondentie met betrekking tot de gerechtelijke vervolgingen van VHO-verantwoordelijken.

    Het ADVN bewaart heel wat periodieken die voor deze gids relevant zijn. Ze beslaan de periode eind 18de eeuw - heden.     In de collectie van het Letterenhuis – een omvangrijk geheel van archivalia, documentatie en iconografisch materiaal – vinden we heel wat stukken die voor deze gids relevant zijn. De onderwerpsmappen bevatten doorgaans vooral krantenknipsels, brochures, programmaboekjes, publicaties, flyers, affiches, uitnodigingen en vaak ook losse archiefstukken.
