  1. Adolf and Bettina Liebermann family collection

    The collection consists of a nameplate and correspondence relating to the experiences of Adolf and Bettina Liebermann, who fled from Vienna to Prague in 1939, and their children, Hedi and Hans, who emigrated to Great Britain in 1938 and 1939.

    The collection consists of photos taken by George Rodger of Bergen-Belsen at liberation as well as a silver cigarette case created in Bergen-Belsen given to fellow internee Alina Szapocznikow (1942-1943). Both were received by the donor.

    The collection consists of an artifact, documents, and photographs relating to the experiences of Sylvia Bassman before, during, and after the Holocaust. Some of these materials may be combined into a single collection in the future.

    The collection should provide insight into the paths leading to the perishing of the Jews of Pozega and the introduction of race laws. The time range extends until the change of power in Croatia, i.e., the introduction of the Independent State of Croatia (April 10, 1941).

  8. Esfira Bramson-Alperniene collection

    Consists of a photograph of members of the Bramson extended family, circa 1900. Many of those identified perished during the Holocaust.

  9. Martin Spett collection

    The collection consists of an armband, a brooch, soap, documents, and photographs relating to the experiences of Monek (Martin) Spett and his family in Tarnow, Poland, and Bergen-Belsen concentration camp during the Holocaust, and in Belgium after the Holocaust.

  10. Arie Singer collection

    The collection consists of contemporary paintings by Arie Singer relating to his experiences as a child in Vilna, Poland (Vilnius, Lithuania), the ghetto in Glembokie (Hlybokaye), Belarus, and with a partisan group in the forests near Vilnius during the Holocaust.

  11. Memoir

    Testimony, photocopy of manuscript, 11 pages, in Russian (with one page English summary included by donor). Covers experiences between 1941-1944 in occupied Odessa, includling Slobodka ghetto.

  12. Letter relating to the bombing of Auschwitz

    Photocopy of one letter, from Norman Bottomley to Carl Spaatz, providing rationale for not bombing Auschwitz, September 1944.

  13. Deposition of Isaak Egon Ochshorn

    Photocopied document, looks to be testimony from Ochshorn given for purposes of trials at Nuremberg, about life in six Nazi concentration camps. Is in German, but also appears to have handwritten Hebrew translation.

  14. Harry Posmantier and family papers

    Contains photographs of a relative who died at Auschwitz and a photograph of the donor's brother, Sam, who was a Jewish policeman at Landsberg DP camp. There also is a photocopy of his postwar ID certificate.
