    Reception given by US ambassador George V. Allen at his summer home, Villa Podkoron in Bled, Slovenia. For the first time in recent years, Marshal Tito was able to attend the reception. Guests included leading members of the Yugoslav Government and the Diplomatic Corps, many came to Bled specifically for the occasion.
