  1. Miriam Lieber collection

    The collection consists of a child-size, toy horse and carriage and photographs of children with the toy and a group of men relating to the experiences of Miriam (later Lieber) and Heskel Kagan and their parents, Raja and Berl Kagan, in Lithuania during the Holocaust, and in Italy after World War II.

  2. Mondschein family collection

    Autograph [Poesie] books, hand-written accounts in spiralbound notebooks, photographs, documents, correspondence, identification cards, oral testimonies, newspaper article illustrating the experiences of Rosa Manowicz [later Mondschein] and Jakob Mondschein surrounding the Holocaust.

  3. Wermuth family collection

    The collection consists of Ruth Pollinger's (nee Wermuth) triangle birth pendant, family photographs, and an oral history the donor conducted with her grandmother Hilde Islovitz (née Blumenthal; formerly Wermuth from her first marriage).

    The collection consists of documents, photographs, and an appointment book as well as a doll and ring that were given to Inge Raphael Rothschild.

    The collection consists of some identity documents and Loeb family photos, primarily featuring the donor's mother Ilse Loeb (nee Morgenstern), as well as Ilse's mother, Elivra Froelich Morgenstern's, lacework and handicraft, and a metal plate from her father's printing business.

    The collection consists of oral history interviews conducted by Barbara Libarkin with her husband's mother and the extended Berger family, as well as their biographical documents and a family photograph.

  7. Judith Cromwell collection

    The Judith Cromwell collection primarily documents the pre-war and post-war experiences of Judith Cromwell (née Lissauer) and her parents John Lissauer and Charlotte Lissauer (née Breuer), including John and Charlotte’s medical careers in Berlin, Germany, John’s World War I military service, their immigration to England in 1939, and Judith and Charlotte’s post-war immigration to the United States in 1950. The bulk of the collection consists of biographical material, correspondence, and photographs. Also included are 9 publications.

  8. "Here We Live Again" documentary film collection

    The collection consists of a documentary film, interview outtakes, and related documentation about the production, participants, and stories featuring a number of Holocaust survivors who settled in Rhode Island after the Holocaust.

  9. Merei family collection

    The collection primarily documents the wartime and post-war experiences of Ernö and Ernestine (née Munk) Merei and their son John of Budapest, Hungary as they fled the country after Germany invaded in 1944. An oral history interview of John Merey and a presentation by him are included in this collection.

  10. Peter Zvi Fuchs-Zinner family collection

    The collection consists of documents, postcards sent from a forced labor camp, scrip from Auschwitz concentration camp and Theresienstadt ghetto-labor camp, and family photographs relating to the experiences of Peter (Zvi) Zinner and his extended Zinner and Braun family members from Yugoslavia (later Bosnia and Herzegovina) before and during the Holocaust.

  11. Edward Franey Jr. family collection

    The collection consists of photographic postcard prints that depict Nordhausen concentration camp at liberation and an oral testimony from Edward Franey Jr. who served in the 104th Signal Company, 104th Infantry Division with in during WWII.

  13. Aberbach family collection

    The collection consists of papers, documents, identity cards, passports, a photograph and newspapers relating to Adolf and Anna Aberbach's emmigration from Germany aboard the MS St. Louis.

  14. Herman Fayman collection

    The collection consists of a concentration camp uniform cap, jacket, and pants, a menorah, documents, and photographs relating to the experiences of Herman Fayman in Auschwitz concentration camp during the Holocaust and in the United States after the Holocaust.

  15. Hubert John Placey collection

    The collection consists of two miniature "button books" issued for charitable contributions by the Winter-hilfswerk des Deutschen Volkes and a pamphlet acquired by Hubert John Placey while serving overseas in the U.S. Army during WWII.

  16. Saliba Sarsar collection

    The collection consists of artifacts relating to Dr. Salbia Sarsar's research into postwar refugee emigration to Palestine. Some of these materials may be combined into a single collection in the future.
