Scope and Content

Created by Ludwig Goldschmidt (donor's uncle), January 1939, Germany. The drawing is an image of the synagogue of Brückenau in the lower Franconia region of Bavaria, Germany. Made by Ludwig Goldschmidt (Elise Goldschmidt's brother] on January 8, 1939. He was sixteen at the time. He was later deported to Dachau where he died.
