Acquisition

Source of acquisition is the Dansk Jødisk Museum (Danish Jewish Museum). The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Museum International Archives Project in Jan. 2014.

Scope and Content

This collection contains interviews, photo albums, and scrapbooks relating to the experiences of Danish Jews during the war, including escape to Sweden and deportation to Theresienstad, as well as their return home to Denmark.
