Hand colored etching of Cathedral Square in Passau, Germany, created by Emil Singer circa 1930 in Vienna, Austria. After Nazi Germany annexed Austria in March 1938, Singer increased his efforts to obtain visas to leave the country with his wife Grete. Their efforts were unsuccessful. The couple was deported on May 12, 1942, and presumed murdered in Izbica concentration camp.
