Research materials further enhance collection previously contributed documenting the experiences of the Mina and Markus Blechner; their sons Salo Blechner, who was deported to concentration camps in 1939 and survived and was liberated in 1945; Oskar, who was on the MS St. Louis and disembarked and went to the United Kingdom in 1939; Jakob, who fled to Switzerland; and Leo who immigrated to the United States before the second World War.
