Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
Source of acquisition is the Derz︠h︡avnyĭ arkhiv Kyïvsʹkoï oblasti (Kyiv State Oblast Archive), Ukraine. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archives Project in Jan. 2007.
Scope and Content
The collection contains records of the Jewish organizations and Government and Communist Party organizations pertaining to the history of Jews and Jewish communities in the Kyiv region before and immediately after WWII, i.e, during Soviet power.
