Acquisition

The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum by the Estate of Herman Goldberg in 2000.

Scope and Content

Consist of one photograph and one leaflet relating to Herman Goldberg, Marty Glickman, and the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, Germany. The leaflet welcomes participants to the Olympic Village, is signed by Reichs Minister of War, von Blomberg, Field Marshal, and includes comments from Herman Goldberg [donor]. The photograph, with attached typewritten comment by the donor, depicts Marty Glickman, and Herman Goldberg at the Berlin Olympic Stadium, 1936. Also includes three books relating to the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, Germany.
