The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2003 by Friedl Herzfeld Wollmerstedt .

Scope and Content

The collection consists of two rings, correspondence, documents, and a photograph album relating to the experiences of Friedl Herzfeld and her family in Germany before and during the Holocaust, as well as to the emigration of Friedl and her sister to Great Britain in 1939, and Friedl's postwar return to Germany and her efforts to gain restitution.
