Acquisition

Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.

Source of acquisition is the Archiwum Państwowe w Poznaniu, Poland, Sygn. 1009. Records created by the Umwandererzentralstelle Posen during the German occupation .The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection from the Archiwum Państwowe w Poznaniu via the United States Holocaust Museum International Archives Project in July 2012.

Scope and Content

Records of the Posen (Poznań) office of the Umwandererzentralstelle, which organized expulsions of Poles in preparation for German colonization. Incomplete documentation includes lists of Poles scheduled for displacement.
