Mott Community College, in partnership with Jewish Community Services of Flint, MI, produced this collection of oral history interviews with five Flint-area Holocaust survivors who were children in Russia during the Holocaust. The interviews for the project, which culminated in a traveling exhibition and the accompanying book “Recounting Memory: Fint-Area Holocaust Survivors & Youth Dialogue with History,” were conducted from Nov. 2010 to Jan. 2011. In Dec. 2011, Professor Mara Jevera Fulmer, on behalf of Mott Community College, donated copies of the interviews to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum’s Oral History Branch.
