Acquisition

The interviews were conducted by Roy and Anne Freed as part of a project documenting the testimonies of individuals who witnessed the Bulgarians' frustration of the Nazi demand for the deportation of their 50,000 Jews. The interviews were received by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in January 1994.
