Oral history interviews of the Romania Roma Documentation Project
Acquisition
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Oral History Branch conducted interviews for its Romania Roma Documentation Project in 2004 with support from a grant from Jeff and Toby Herr and under the project director, Mr. Nathan Beyrak. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the tapes of the interviews in 2004.
Scope and Content
Oral history interviews with eight non-Jewish witnesses (Roma) whom were victims of persecution, humiliation, and forced labor in Transnistria during the Holocaust.
