Scope and Content

Het Koninklijk mannenkoor Die Haghe Sanghers is opgericht in 1917. Het predikaat ‘koninklijk’ dateert van 1946. In 1940 geeft het orkest een concert ten bate van de zwaar gebombardeerde stad Rotterdam tezamen met het Rotte’s Mannenkoor. In 1942 staakt het orkest de uitvoeringen. De zangers gaan verder als als 'koor II' met uitvoeringen in de R.K. kerk aan de Elandstraat.
