Scope and Content

Matilde Coen, born in Mantua, Italy, on November 12th, 1916, was a Jewish teacher who asked for an official certificate as racial persecuted in 1961. To escape racial persecution, in March 1944 she went to Switzerland, from where she came back to Italy in May, 1945.
